This is our moment to stand together. Our city is losing beloved arts spaces—we can’t let The Hook & Ladder be next.

🌟 Keep Our Community Stage Shining 🌟

For nearly a decade, The Hook & Ladder Theater has been more than a venue—it’s been a home for live performance, creativity, and connection. It’s where thousands of artists have shared their talent, where friends and families have gathered, and where our community has come alive through music, art, and celebration.

But today, The Hook faces one of its biggest challenges yet. Rising costs, declining ticket sales, and shifting audience habits now put this vital community space at risk. Without immediate support, our doors could close.

That’s why we’ve launched a 100% community-powered campaign to raise $75,000 by October 31st. These funds will cover critical operational costs and ensure our stages continue to host live music, charity fundraisers, and cultural events for another decade.

How you can help today:
Donate: Every dollar—big or small—keeps the lights on and the stage alive.

Share: Tell your friends, family, and community why The Hook matters to you.

Join a Campaign Team: Artists, fans, collaborators, and community members each have a unique role to play.

With your support, we can celebrate our upcoming 10-year anniversary not as the end of an era, but as the start of another decade filled with live music, creativity, and connection.

Thank you for being part of this community. Together, we’ll keep the stage shining.

With gratitude,
The Hook & Ladder Team

We are excited to share the stage with our partners in rock The Beowulf Project @ The Aquarium in Fargo!
ROCktober 17th!

A return to the stage for the first time in 15 years is The Beowulf Project with Angry at Numbers. Their first out of town show was Fargo and they're back!

8PM Doors | 9PM Music | $10 at the Door (Cash Only) | 21+ Only

Born in February 1990, Beowulf Project began in basements across Devils Lake, ND. Combining their love of AC/DC, Warrant, Anthrax, TPOH, and Jane’s Addiction - they created and perfected their own genre of music - Garbage Rock.

Their 1st show was the legendary Wood Lake Rock Festival in 1990. They would continue to write and record until they began their world tour at the Broadway Junktion (NOW The Aquarium) in May 1991.
They continued to write and record but had decided against touring in spite of the high demand. Top acts of the day like Spider Tiger, Crayzee Guts and of course Sly Guys.

With overwhelming demand, they returned to Fargo to play a club date at the Fargo Teamsters with very special guests VI and Full Fathom Five in January 1995.

After this, the band took a hiatus until 2002. When they came back it was a brand new band except for the lead screamer, Jeff Fox.

They took this new energy and in 2003 they released the multi platinum, mega selling album “One Man’s Justice” to critical and fan praise.

They did another world tour with acts such as White Centipede, Unholy Preachers and Sleez Beez.
In 2010 they decided to leave at the top of their game and played their last show.

Unfortunately, their beloved drummer and friend Matt “Muthaphuckin” Miles became sick and the band tried (with Matt’s permission) to organize a show for Matt. Sadly Matt passed away in December 2022 before this could be done. Talking of this show made the band more determined to recognize their friend and finish the show.
Now it’s come full circle with the band returning to it’s adopted home town of Fargo, ND to play the 1st venue they ever played outside of Devils Lake, ND - the Aquarium.

What can you expect? all the hits including Jet Ski Baby, Frontline, A Keel cover, and of course the #1 hit - Trashman. You will see violence, blood and possibly more blood, sweat and beers. This is a full on, spectacle filled show that cannot
