Hennepin Arts is proud to offer a Sensory-Friendly performance of Wicked at the Orpheum Theatre on July 26 at 6:30PM. This is in partnership with Fraser, and created for individuals with sensory differences, cognitive or developmental disabilities, and anyone who benefits from a more relaxed and supportive theatre environment.
In partnership with Fraser, this special performance will include:
• Lower sound levels for intense moments
• House lights kept on at a low level
• Flexible spaces for movement and standing
• Sensory break areas throughout the theatre
• Trained volunteers and professionals onsite
• Sensory supports available in the lobby, including fidgets and noise-canceling earmuffs
• Helpful guidance materials before your visit
Guests are also welcome to bring comfort items, fidgets, seat cushions, and other personal sensory supports.
