I was thinking and it's a bit over my head, but if we were to compare the size of the earth to the known 'visible' universe or outer bounds of space, would it be similar to comparing a grain of sand to the size of the earth? Would a grain of sand be too large or too small? Has anyone done this comparison. I'm working on a thought.
