Tucked away in the Midway neighborhood in St. Paul is a community treasure many have come to love and respect.

Urban Lights is one of 35 Black-owned record stores in the country and one of the only ones left in the Twin Cities. The cultural institution has survived when other independent stores were forced to close their doors.

The National Pan-Hellenic Council, Inc. stands in solidarity with Black women.

The Presidents of the Divine Nine fraternities have issued a powerful letter reaffirming their support for Black women and calling for respect, protection, dignity, and action.

Black women have always been central to our families, our organizations, our communities, and our collective progress. Their leadership, strength, service, and sacrifice must never be minimized, disrespected, or ignored.
