The Advocates for Human Rights, along with our volunteer attorneys, continues to provide direct legal representation to children facing these proceedings, work that remains essential to ensuring justice and dignity are preserved in immigration court.

This week, Associate Program Director Amy Bergquist is in Paris attending the World Congress Against the Death Penalty and participating in a series of workshops run by long-standing partners, the World Coalition Against the Death Penalty. She will be speaking about the power of storytelling in advocating for abolition of the death penalty and leading a workshop on the importance of UN advocacy.
