While brought our Carrie to life ✨

& I () got to live out make faux blood dreams by spraying down flowers and a white dress ❤️ the lighting turning out exactly as planned was the cherry on the cake of the Carrie shoot 📸

The craziest part of this whole shoot is… 🍯

When I first started doing photography in 2017 a group of friends and I started a collective of Black women perspectives called Black Honey Collective. For the launch of this platform, I connected with a friend of mine in Minnesota to do a photo shoot where she covered herself in honey. 📸

Who would’ve thought that this photo concept would make its way back in 2025 to highlight my skills from the beginning of my career to now. The growth is crazy! IYKYK

if it wasn’t for a group of women coming together and deciding we wanted to create something we weren’t seeing in the world I would’ve never picked up a camera, I would have never attempted such a beautiful concept and I wouldn’t be where I am today centering my subjects in a way that puts them in a state of play so we can create magic together. 🖤
