Killian is a 5-year-old Doberman who's equal parts playful, affectionate, and charming. Whether he's greeting you at the door with excitement, dropping a stuffed toy at your feet to ask for attention, or curling up beside you on the couch after a long day, this handsome boy just wants to be part of your world.
His love language?

Killian absolutely adores adults and older kids/teens and is always excited to welcome visitors. His enthusiasm can be a little overwhelming for very young children, so he'd do best in a home without little ones.
🐶 Dog Friendly?
Killian has lived with other dogs before and could happily share a home with another canine companion after slow, proper introductions. He's also perfectly content soaking up all the attention as your one and only.
🐱 Cats?
No thank you! Killian has a prey drive, so a cat-free home is the best fit for him.
🎓 Killian has been working hard in foster care and is making fantastic progress! He's learning obedience, improving his leash manners, and becoming more confident despite living in a busy neighborhood. He's incredibly smart and eager to learn, and he'll continue to thrive with someone willing to keep building on the great foundation he's already started.
One thing to know about Killian? He's happiest outside of a crate while his foster family is away, and he does best on a fish-based diet (chicken isn't his thing!) along with a consistent potty schedule.
At the end of the day, Killian isn't looking for perfection.
He's looking for his person.
Someone who will laugh at his goofy antics, appreciate his giant heart, and save room for one very cuddly Doberman on the couch.

Qualified adopters must live within our approved adoption area and will be asked to meet Killian in his foster home. Our foster homes are generally located within a 250-mile radius of Minneapolis, MN.
