A funny thing happened in 1974; Santa got stranded in Minneapolis!

Old Minneapolis and TC Media Now are pleased to share this Twin Cities WCCO-TV classic, "Miracle On 9th Street," starring 'CCO-TV's Dave Moore as Kris Kringle and co-starring channel 4's longtime weatherman Bud Kraehling and John Gallos (aka the station's kid show host, "Clancy the Cop"). Dudley Riggs' Brave New Workshop improv comedy theater in on the action, too, and kids from Bryn Mawr Elementary School (the original Bryn Mawr, not the current one). It's too bad that local TV across the country doesn't do industrious stuff like this anymore, but thankfully, TCMediaNow has preserved this and an ever-growing archive of other local TV broadcasts dating back decades!
