A Safe That Hadn't Been Opened in Over 40 Years! 🔐

This beautiful antique Diebold's Special safe had remained unopened for more than 40 years. The owners had what they believed was the original combination, but years of sitting unused had caused the wheel pack to slip, preventing the lock from operating normally.

After inspecting the safe, it appeared drilling might be necessary. Before taking that route, we carefully manipulated the lock using the customer's combination. With a little patience and experience, the lock aligned perfectly, and the safe opened without drilling or damaging this historic piece.

AMSEC Safe Lock Upgrade Completed in Chaska, Minnesota

B-SAFE Lock & Key recently serviced an American Security (AMSEC) residential safe that became inaccessible due to a failed AMSEC ESL5 electronic lock. Although the customer still had the correct combination, the lock had failed and would no longer operate properly.

Using professional non-destructive safe opening techniques, we successfully opened the safe without drilling and upgraded the safe with a new American Security (AMSEC) ESL10 electronic lock and keypad.
