I have an art opening at Acadia tomorrow (Friday) from 5-7pm. I've been working on a new piece just for this show and I'm really excited about it. I had to push through some pretty serious depression to get it done so it feels like a real accomplishment. I'm only going to post this teaser photo because I'd really like it if you showed up and saw it in person. I'll also be putting up a couple of my other favorite pieces and maybe a couple little assemblage pieces that I'm usually too shy to share.

It's also the last day of Luminaries. If you haven't been over to see that... it's your last chance to see the absolutely amazing show that Nat & Jonia put together. I have a couple pieces in the show that have been "in progress" for about a decade. (And I'm really excited about them too!)

Thanks to .and.that.2731 & for giving me the opportunity (and impetus) to display some pieces that I really love.

Headlight Lamp - $80

This is made to be hung on the wall, but it also sits nicely on a table. The back plate is the brake cover from one of my old (Honda?) motorcycles. The cord is 12 feet long so it'll easily reach an outlet. It turns off/on with a vintage bakelite k**b on top of the headlight shell.
