Batter Up MN

Coach Dan’s one and done appearance in the local men’s baseball league last night was, well, a unique experience. 😉
Dan did great! He managed several plays in the outfield and scored the game winning RBI on a solid single. 🏆
He did get yelled at for not diving for a ball (he’s too old for that), he may have bailed out of the batter’s box due to a extreme curve ball (eek!) and the kids learned several new swear words (color commentary was in full effect 😳).
All and all, it was nice to see him on the field and we’re proud of him for putting himself out there.
Way to go, Coach Dan!

Coach Dan’s latest conversation while coaching 3rd base….

The scene: Opposing team’s pitcher and catcher are talking on the mound and being sure to cover their mouths while talking.

Coach Dan jokingly says to 3rd baseman:
“You can tell your teammates we can’t read lips.”

3rd baseman:
“Ugh, they’re so extra.”

Coach Dan:
😳😳😳🤣🤣🤣
