Dad for the First Time is a sharp, heartfelt comedy about Mark, a 45-year-old unfiltered Black comic who suddenly becomes a full-time dad to two white daughters after marrying his high school crush. Set in suburban New Jersey, the show tackles race, family, and parenting with humor and honesty—it’s Black-ish meets Modern Family, with an edge. We’re raising $10,000 to shoot the pilot, hire a diverse crew, and pitch to networks and festivals.
