Stopped by my favorite to pick up supper for the family. A couple of years ago I walked in to with a mission: to find a turkey gun that was small and lightweight but also packed enough punch to reliably get the job done. After talking with Taylor in the guns section we decided on the Stevens 301 in .410 partnered with Fiocchi Golden Turkey TSS shells. This gun has been a hammer. Last spring I shot my bird at over 40 yards and this spring all three of us made short work of our turkeys. This isn’t an ad and Ol’ Aaron doesn’t get anything for promoting this gun or ammo. I just have a lot of confidence in the setup and think is an absolute blast to hunt with.
