When I saw this posted at the gym this morning it got me thinking… We are constantly bombarded with this message… That PERFECTION is what we should aspire to. I see it everywhere, especially on social media.

But there is no such thing as perfection. If there is one thing I’ve learned over the years is that things are NEVER what they seem from the outside.

And guess what, we can drive ourselves crazy chasing after this elusive perfection. It steals your joy and doesn’t allow you to be present for your life.

We are imperfect humans, there is no other kind.

Don’t wait for the perfect time, the perfect season, the perfect body or for things to finally be perfect in your life because your life is waiting… and time passes and the promise of perfection never arrives.

So love yourself just as you are right now, perfectly imperfect.

Don’t give up on your dreams, remember why you started...
