Consider joining our Alumni Board! We will prioritize responses submitted by June 15, 2026.

Our Alumni Board application has launched! Teach For America RGV Alumni Board will serve as the hub for the alumni experience as well as a place to commit and re-commitment to the TFA mission. The hope of our alumni movement is that all alumni, regardless of chosen profession, will feel energized and supported in working toward a collective effort within our community.

Alumni Board Member Expectations:
• Attend 80% of annual board meetings (4 out of 5)
• Participate in at least 2 alumni or corps member events each year
• Stay engaged, responsive, and collaborative throughout the year
• Commit to a 3-year term, beginning with a probationary year
• Opportunity to renew service, with a maximum of 6 consecutive years

Education has the power to change lives. In "Raised Twice," Ahitza Roque (RGV '24) reflects on her journey from student to educator and the community that helped shape her along the way. She shared this poem at her alumni induction as she celebrated the community that raised her and stepped into a new chapter.
