Friendship Friday

It was the mommies that brought the little children to Jesus. I saw 2 beautiful mommies today at the library bringing their little children to story time. Mommies are Gods evangelist, shepherds and teachers!! Jesus said-bring the little children to me!!

Some days are draining, but we need to let Jesus be the satisfier of our souls. God isn't leading us into a slavish life of misery and hopeless servitude. I am not a slave of man. I am a slave of Christ. So, because I am not my own, but I am bought with a price, i willingly give myself to God and whatever He calls me to do, and in return he gives me peace and joy--and eternal life.

Jesus loves the little children!! Throughout the whole Bible God is constantly showing His love for children. Not just when He said "Let the little children come to Me," Matt. 19:14 But in many other areas as well! He loved giving children as a blessing to all the mothers mentioned in the Bible. Sarah, Rebecca, Rachael, Hannah, Samson's Mother, Elisabeth, and many more. He also says through out the Psalms and Proverbs to love our children and to "Train them up in the way they should go." Prov. 22:6.
So what am i getting at? If Jesus loves our children, (And He sees more of their sins than we do) then even through the trying moments of training and disciplining and sickness, we can still have compassion. Still love, still nurture, and still have fun its what we are called to do! Ladies, God gave us our children! Embrace your family!
