Is this what the kids mean by 6 7?

250 years ago, a handful of people bet everything on an idea nobody had tested at that scale. Self-governance. No blueprint, no guarantee, and plenty of reasons to walk away.

They built anyway.

That instinct never left. We went from horses to automobiles in a single lifetime. From the printing press to the daily newspaper to the entire world publishing at once. Right here in Montana, the copper pulled out of Butte wired a nation for electricity and carried the first voices down telephone lines. Every generation looked at what it inherited and refused to leave it alone.

Now we build machines that think and push our understanding every day.

We’re proud to carry that instinct forward from Missoula, Montana, on American soil.
Independence was never a finish line. It’s a standard you keep earning.

Today we honor the ones who made all of it possible. The soldiers who never came home. The founders who signed their names knowing it could cost them everything. The inventors, the pioneers, and the miners and workers whose names no one recorded. They sacrificed so we could inherit the freedom to keep building.

Happy 250th, America. To the heroes who got us here, and the builders just getting started.

What inspired you this week?

For me (Joshua), it was Muse dropping The Wow! Signal. It's rare for a band to put out one of its strongest records ten albums into a career, but they pulled it off. Big vocals and soaring falsetto, extended-range guitars, orchestral sweep, funky grooves, and songwriting that ties the whole thing together. Critics are calling it their best in a decade, and I hear it.

This is the kind of craft that reminds me why we're building what we're building at CubCloud. Great music takes everything an artist has, and if we can hand some of that time and grind back to them so they make more of it, we've done our job.
Your turn. What lit you up this week?

Last week, we spent time with Montana Troyer, the creator behind Products Uncovered, a YouTube channel that opens up the behind-the-scenes of aviation manufacturing.

We worked through a NASA design process built to cut fuel burn in future jets, and the whole story of how it came together. A different kind of research build...but a very exciting and welcomed one!

Montana, creativity, and technology that scales a good idea. Sharpening the production behind Products Uncovered hit all three.
