Hey Missoula!!

Our team is hitting the doors tomorrow, because we know talking to our neighbors, listening, and doing the work together is how we send real working representation to Congress, so we can fight for ourselves. Whether you’ve never knocked a door or you volunteered with us all spring, we’d love to see you!

Aaron Flint is the 3rd most AI-funded candidate in the country. We’re up against a political puppet for AI, big tech, and big money, but they’re up against all of us.

We can do so much better. We can still build a country that works for working people and protects our air, water, and way of life. We do that by standing together as working people and as Montanans from all walks of life.

I’d love your help. Chip in here: samformontana.com/donate

A few years ago, farmers and ranchers from across the state came together to create the Glacier Processing Co-op, working with the Montana Farmers Union to make sure there’s still somewhere local ranchers can process their beef.

This week, I spent an afternoon with Mark Siderius to see what they’ve built. The Glacier Processing Co-op has helped make sure that small- and mid-scale ranchers can continue feeding Montanans while keeping the value of their product here at home.

These are the kinds of operations we should be supporting–not the Big Ag lobbyists and multinationals that are squeezing local producers. Because when we invest in rural economic development, we invest in our communities here in western Montana. That helps our families live healthier lives and provides good-paying jobs that drive local prosperity. In Congress, I’ll always fight for Montana’s ranchers and farmers, because when they succeed we’re all better for it.

Tens of thousands of Montanans are about to lose their healthcare: families with disabled children, working folks, our neighbors, people reading this.

That’s up to 50,000 people kicked off their coverage so the state can hire 60 new bureaucrats to bury them in paperwork.

I was at the Capitol today with 100+ Montanans from every corner of the state who showed up to say, “we will not accept this.”

This is what Aaron Flint cheers for on the sidelines while Ryan Zinke and Greg Gianforte gut a trillion dollars from Medicaid, so that big corporations and political puppets can profit off our pain.

We don’t have to accept it. We pay more and get less at every step, and it’s not by accident, it’s a choice our leaders keep making.

We can do so much better than this. And we have to, because lives are depending on it.

I will always stand with the people of Montana in our fight for healthcare for every single person in this state and across the country.

We started this campaign as an underdog, with plenty of people saying we didn’t stand a chance in MT-01. Despite the cynicism, we all came together to show what’s possible when we come together and work our tails off. Now, we’ve got a general election to win in November, and I can’t do it without all of you.

Join me Thursday, July 9 at 6:30 PM MT for a campaign briefing on Zoom. I’ll walk you through where we are and what’s ahead, you’ll meet the team, and we’ll let you know exactly what you can do to help us win.

Old friends, new faces, anyone who’s fed up with the corrupt and broken politics making life harder for working people, this campaign is for you. Join us.

RSVP at the link below. See you Thursday, friends!

This kind of chaos does not make our communities safer or more prosperous.

Whether it's law enforcement or a fire crew, we deserve discipline and accountability from federal employees that are supposed to be working on our behalf. What we saw in Bozeman was not that.

Today, I headed over to Bonner to sit down with my old friend Brenna and hear about a group of Montanans standing up to Big Tech. Twenty minutes before I arrived, she and her fellow organizers got huge news. They’d already won. The data center she has been organizing to stop isn't coming to her community.

For months, I've been listening to folks across western Montana share their worries about AI and data centers, and here's where I land: until and unless companies can guarantee that they’ll provide their own water, their own power, and real, long-term jobs, they can’t build here. No more freeloading off our resources and sticking us with the bill. We need strong, enforceable federal rules, and a Representative in D.C. who will fight for our communities and public land, not one who will capitulate to corporate interests.

Brenna and her neighbors just proved you can take on a predatory corporation and win. We're going to keep fighting across western Montana to protect our environment, our communities, and our way of life. Then, come November, we’re going to take that fight to Washington D.C.—and just like our neighbors in Bonner, we plan to win.

For all of us.

A great weekend spent right here in western Montana. Thank you to everyone for your hospitality across Butte, Anaconda, and the Flathead Reservation.
