🎉🎂🐾 Happy Birthday, Kristy! 🐾🎂🎉

There once was a rescuer named Kristy, you see,
Who has absolutely no idea what a day off should be! 😂

She showed up one night with a sparkle and grin,"Let's start a rescue!" ...and that's where it'd begin.

But her rescue story started years before that night,
Since Hurricane Katrina, she's been making things right. ❤️
If there's a dog in trouble or a kitten alone,
Somehow, Kristy's the very first one to know.

📱 Don't be surprised if your phone starts to ring
While you're standing in the checkout buying just one thing.

"There's a puppy at Tractor Supply!" 🐶"Can you go? We need you!"

Or...

🍼 "This tiny kitten needs a bottle right now!"
Before you can answer, you're already asking, "Where and how?" 😂

She has a gift for recruiting—it's really first-rate.
You leave for some groceries... and come home three hours late! 🤣

🔑 Lost keys? Eh... they'll turn up someday.
🚐 Rescue van needs cleaning? That can wait anyway.

But a puppy in danger or kittens so small? 🐾❤️Drop everything... because Kristy's on the call!

She'll drive through the day and well into the night,
Just to make one more little life turn out right. 🚐💨

Spays and neuters, transports galore,
Then somehow she always finds room for one more!

She's rescued more dogs and cats than anyone we know,
And somehow keeps finding more places to go.

She's the backbone of Meows and Mutts through thick and thin,
Always saying, "I think we can squeeze one more in!" 😂

And when it comes to going above and beyond, she truly sets the bar—she even shaved her head to raise money so she could rescue even more animals. ❤️🐾

So today we have just one birthday request:

🎂 Eat the cake.
🎁 Open the gifts.
😂 Laugh until your cheeks hurt.
❤️ Let everyone else save the world... at least until tomorrow.

(Although... if someone texts you a puppy picture, we all know this birthday party is officially over! 🤣🐶)

Happy Birthday to one of the hardest-working animal rescuers we know. Thank you for every mile you've driven, every bottle baby you have found a place for, every transport you've made, every life you've saved, and every volunteer you've lovingly recruited while they were just trying to live their lives. ❤️🐾

We love you, we appreciate you, and Meows and Mutts simply wouldn't be the same without you.
