The Meows and Mutts Rescue Express is getting ready to head north again soon, carrying precious cats and dogs toward adopters, fosters, and second chances in Maryland and Connecticut. ❤️

But rescue transport is expensive — especially with East Coast gas prices climbing higher and higher. 😵‍💫⛽ Between fuel, tolls, food, supplies, and vehicle expenses, these long trips add up fast.

The boys are absolutely thrilled with the results of their very important mission to keep tiny kitten bellies full. After we asked for help feeding all of these hungry growing babies, a BIG box from Chewy packed full of kitten food showed up right on our doorstep today! 📦🐾
These former bottle babies are growing fast and eating us out of house and home, so this surprise could not have come at a better time. Ripley and Benny would like everyone to know that their snack emergency has been temporarily resolved thanks to all of you. 😂
