Another certification in the books! 🎓🌡️💧

I’m proud to announce that I have earned my Certified Infrared Moisture Detection certification.
Moisture intrusion can be one of the most difficult problems to identify during a home inspection. Sometimes the visible evidence is minimal or nonexistent. That’s where infrared technology and proper training can make a difference.
This certification further strengthens my ability to use infrared technology to help identify thermal anomalies that may indicate potential moisture-related concerns, allowing me to investigate areas that might otherwise go unnoticed.
I believe in continually investing in my education, training, and equipment so I can provide my clients with the most thorough inspection possible.
The more I learn, the better I can serve my clients. 🏠🔍

Another certification earned! 🔥📸

I’m excited to announce that I have earned my Certified Residential Thermographer (CRT) certification.
Thermal imaging is an incredibly valuable tool during a home inspection but having a thermal camera and knowing how to properly interpret what you see are two very different things.
This certification has helped expand my knowledge of residential thermal imaging and how to better understand thermal patterns and anomalies found throughout a home.
Thermal imaging can help identify areas that may warrant further investigation, including potential concerns involving:
🔹 Moisture intrusion
🔹 Electrical components
🔹 HVAC systems
🔹 Insulation deficiencies
🔹 Air leakage
🔹 Unusual thermal patterns
A thermal camera doesn't replace a visual inspection, but when used properly, it can provide another layer of information during the inspection process.
I’m always looking for ways to improve my skills and provide my clients with a more thorough inspection experience. 🏠🌡️🔍
