12TH ANNUAL ROSARY WALK JUBILEE 2025 PROCESSION Downtown Mobile SAT, DEC. 13TH, in memory of Pope Francis, 8AM Mass at the Cathedral --- All are welcome to join us celebrating The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary and The Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We are offering our Rosary Walk, in memory of our late Pope Francis (ordained Priest: Dec 13, 1969) as a "Jubilee 2025 Pilgrims of Hope" pilgrimage. We are truly 'Pilgrims of Hope' for our families (especially our children): Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic School, All Schools, Our Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, Society of St. Joseph of the Sacred Heart (S.S. J.) " ", Priests and Religious serving African American Communities, as well as Hope for Prisoners, the last group on the Jubilee 2025 calendar; and reconciliation for us all.

The two-mile Walk includes
1. 8AM Mass and 1st International Joyful Mystery decade at the Cathedral-Basilica of the Immaculate Conception (English)

2. 2nd Joyful Mystery Decade at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church (Ibibio/Efik or Swahili)

3. 3rd Joyful Mystery Decade at former St. Joseph - Spring Hill Ave (Korean)

4. 4th Joyful Mystery at the grounds of St. Peter Claver (Spanish)

5. 5th Joyful Mystery at Prince of Peace (French)

6. Return to the Cathedral to pray the Jubilee Prayer.

It was already so providential that the first American Pope would be multi racial with immigrant and African blood from New Orleans…a descendant of slaves that built and fought for this Nation. Now to find out you were ordained a Priest on June 19th, Juneteenth, is God’s sign to all that it was Divine Intervention that you would be Pope…the fulfillment of God’s Promise: ”the last shall be first…”

Today, we join in celebrating Pope Leo's 43rd Anniversary of his Ordination to the Priesthood on June 19, 1982. Let us pray for his continued strength and guidance as he leads the Church.
