Family Friday

Today marks the final day of the Week of the Young Child for us, and we’re closing it out by celebrating the most important part of early learning—our families.

We wrapped up the week with a wonderful family picnic today! It was such a joy to see children and their loved ones sharing meals, laughter, and special moments together right here at the center.

Family involvement plays a powerful role in a child’s growth and development, and today was a beautiful reminder of the strong community we have built together.

Thank you to all the families who joined us and continue to support our little learners every day.

Outdoor exploration is in full swing at Early Learning Center Mid-City.

Children and teachers spent time building, testing ideas, and working together on the playground, while also engaging with STEM Carts received from the Rooted in Nature: Enhancing Early Childhood Development through Outdoor Environments Grant. With materials like hula hoops and hands-on activities, children explored movement, problem-solving, and creativity in new ways.
