Throwing it back to Dr. Jones’ school days from Thomasville High School! 💙

From leading pep rallies to attending Beta Club Convention — and even serving as 5th grade class president (she still has her gavel!) — Dr. Jones has always embodied the well-rounded spirit that would later help make Barton Academy so special.

Her passion for leadership, school pride, academics, and meaningful student experiences created a culture where students could grow, connect, and shine in every way. Thank you, Dr. Jones, for bringing that same energy, heart, and dedication to Barton Academy. 💙

But did you know her leadership skills showed up way back in the 8th grade?

After an Alabama football game, young Dr. Jones confidently walked straight past security and into the University of Alabama locker room like she owned the place. 😂 Her mission? To meet Alabama quarterback Jay Barker.

Mission accomplished. ✔️
She got the picture. ✔️
She got the autograph. ✔️

…Unfortunately, the autographed shirt later went through the washing machine thanks to her mom. 😅
