π Week 1 Summer Camp Learning in Action at Collins-Rhodes! π
Our students are staying engaged, building skills, and having fun through a variety of hands-on learning experiences!
π€πΌοΈ Mrs. Robertson's students are engaged in hands-on syllabication practice using pictures to break apart words and build strong foundational reading skills.
π Ms. Etheridge's students are strengthening their reading skills through fluency practice, exciting buzzer games, decodable texts, and writing activities.
Ms. Edwardβs is making learning fun with exciting buzzer games and engaging word work activities. Her students are building confidence, strengthening literacy skills, and having a blast while they learn! πβ
βοΈ Mrs. Florence's class is working hard on writing practice, CVC words, initial sound activities, and addition using manipulativesβ¦all while incorporating technology to enhance learning.
π Mrs. Napier's students are developing their writing skills through engaging sentence-building activities that encourage creativity and meaningful communication.
π» Mrs. Eaton is bringing *Do the Math* to life through interactive online competition-style practice, allowing students to reinforce and apply skills learned during lessons.
π’ Our Math Coach, Mrs. Moss-Knight, is keeping students active and engaged through interactive math lessons using the Active Floor, combining movement, collaboration, and mathematical thinking in exciting new ways.

Every classroom is filled with learning, laughter, and opportunities for growth. We are proud of our students and teachers for making Summer Camp a success!

Summer Camp learning is in full swing! π
Mrs. Florence and Ms. Etheridge's students are working hard, building skills, and making great progress every day. We are proud of their dedication, engagement, and positive attitudes as they continue growing this summer. Keep up the amazing work.
Our daily Morning Meeting games are bringing lots of energy, excitement, and friendly class competition! Students are building teamwork, practicing positive behavior, and having fun as they compete for bragging rights and rewards.
Who will come out on top?

A huge shoutout to our amazing 3rd Grade Summer Camp teachers (Edwards, Moorer, and Napier) and students for an incredible start to learning, growing, and achieving this summer! Every day, our students are building confidence, strengthening their skills, and showing what it means to work hard and never give up.
We are proud of the progress already being made and the positive energy filling our classrooms.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and concerns. Our goal is to make Summer Achievement Camp a positive, engaging experience that focuses on what matters mostβ¦meeting studentsβ needs and helping them grow academically and personally.

Students may now attend camp in school-appropriate attire (uniforms are no longer required).
Camp Dress Expectations:
βοΈ No rips or tears in jeans
βοΈ Shorts and skirts must be an appropriate length
βοΈ No crop tops
βοΈ Athletic shoes required
β No Crocs or sandals
This summer, students can look forward to:

This camp is ONLY for students who previously committed to attending by completing the Google Form invitation or returning the paper registration form sent home.

The dress code requires students to wear uniform. Please pay attention to transportation information. π
