More than a game: Henry’s Magic Moment shines at pickleball tournament in Spanish Fort 05/05/2026

We were proud to be the title sponsor for the inaugural Battle at the Fort Pickleball Tournament in Spanish Fort! This exciting event took place at the facility our team designed last year.

The tournament was a huge success, featuring a visit from the City of Spanish Fort's Mayor, and a goodwill performance from the Dogwood Trail Court. Most importantly, the tournament benefited American Cancer Society Shuck Cancer South Alabama and helped grant a "Magic Moment" for a local child living with TAR syndrome.

We were proud to support the 2026 American Society of Civil Engineers Gulf Coast Student Symposium co-hosted by The University of Alabama and UAB - The University of Alabama at Birmingham. As a sponsor and an employee-owned company, we value the opportunity to invest in the next generation of engineers and celebrate the leadership within our own team.

Several of our team members were on hand to volunteer and judge the various student competitions at the symposium. Miles Watkins, a Team Leader from our Pelham office, assisted with the Tug of War and networking events. Jamie Blanton, a Senior Engineer from our Chattanooga office, served as the head judge for the Construction Institute. Casey Brown, a Central Design Team Leader from our Birmingham office, acted as the head judge for the Timber Strong Design Build Contest.

It was a great weekend of competition and networking with prospective engineering students from across the Gulf Coast.
