Today we celebrated our annual Blessing of the Animals in honor of St. Francis Day at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer. When rain moved in we headed inside and brought the joy indoors. It was a heartwarming day filled with furry friends, grateful hearts, and reminders of God's love for all creation. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this cherished tradition so special.

For this year's Blessing of the Animals, the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer will be joining St. Luke's Episcopal Church on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 1050 Azalea Road, Mobile, AL 36693. The service will begin at 3:00 pm (yes animals are welcome in the church) and The Blessing will take place immediately following the service by the front doors.

All the participating churches are asking everyone to bring items for the City Animal Shelter (toys, treats, beds, towels, sheets, etc.). Monetary donations will be accepted as well.
