At the beginning of summer, a group of 10 Causey parents and students joined Mrs. Counselman for an unforgettable 6-day journey celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the United States!
From the historic streets of Boston 🇺🇸 to the bright lights of New York City 🗽 and the rich history of Philadelphia, the group experienced some of our nation’s most iconic locations.

Today, we celebrate not only the Fourth of July, but also the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence—a historic milestone in our nation's story.

On July 4, 1776, a bold declaration set the United States on a path toward liberty, self-government, and opportunity. For 250 years, generations of Americans have worked to preserve those ideals while continuing to shape our country's future.

As we celebrate this special day, may we reflect on our shared history, honor those who have served our nation, and inspire the next generation to lead with courage, kindness, and integrity.

From all of us at Causey Middle School, we wish our students, families, faculty, staff, and community a safe, happy, and meaningful Independence Day.
