When Jesus says, “I have something to tell you” You should listen!

In Luke 7:36, Simon questions Jesus associating with a pr******te and his reputation as a prophet. At the same time, a sinful woman sees the incredible value of the man right in front of her and worships with no reservation.

We want answers because we want to understand, but a personal relationship with your creator is what gives you life!

Simon wanted answers. She just wanted Jesus.

Jesus cared for them BOTH and gave each what they wanted. Only one recognized what she really needed.

This is a common pattern throughout Jesus’ ministry. He met the self righteous and the marginalized right where they were and offered them all The Kingdom. Some accepted and some rejected this simple gospel. I hope that you accept it. Jesus has done all of the WORKS, the only WORK you have left is to simply believe.

John 6: 28 Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the WORKS God requires?”

Jesus answered, “The WORK of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
