Now that the threat from Delta is decreasing, FEMA mobile registration intake centers are reopening starting Monday.

FEMA - Mobile Registration Intake Centers (MRICs) will reopen on Monday, Oct. 12.

The MRICs can assist Hurricane Sally survivors without internet access or telephones.

They are open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The following locations will be open in Mobile County:

Theodore Oaks Shopping Center, 5808 U.S. Hwy. 90 West, Theodore; open Monday, Oct. 12 through Thursday, Oct. 15.
Grand Bay Community Center, 11610 U.S. Hwy 90, Grand Bay; open Monday, Oct. 12 through Tuesday, Oct. 13.
Prichard City Hall, 216 E. Prichard Avenue, Prichard; open Wednesday, October 14th through Thursday, October 15th.
All MRIC’s will shut down COB on Thursday, October 15th for demobilization.



Residents can still apply for federal assistance, check the status of their application, ask questions and get information in several ways:

By calling the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362 (TTY 800-462-7585).
By downloading the FEMA app to a smartphone or tablet

Mobile County to Begin Hurricane Sally Debris Removal Next Week

The Mobile County Commission will begin Hurricane Sally debris removal on Monday, September 28, 2020.

It is not necessary for residents to report the debris, however if they wish, they can report it by completing the online survey, sending an email to [email protected] (and include your name and address), or calling the Hurricane Sally Debris Removal Line at 251-574-4930. The call line is monitored Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. After hours, please leave a voice mail.
