SHC History is very sad to share that Dr. Patricia G. Harrison passed away on August 10, 2021. An accomplished scholar and teacher, Dr. Harrison was the rock of our department for 40 years, known for her bright persona, mentorship of students and faculty colleagues, and leadership in the College. It is difficult to find the right words to describe the impact Dr. Harrison had on all those who knew her. We send our deepest condolences to her family and friends.
Her obituary is below. For those who wish to honor Dr. Harrison's life: "Funeral services will be held at Ashland Place United Methodist Church at 2:00pm on Wednesday, August 25th, 2021. Burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery."
We miss you, Pat!
