State St AME Zion Church
A rich history used as foundation upon which to stand to reach the present age in current methods to win the world for Christ.
Prayer is powerful and coming into agreement with prayer that’s based on God’s word is an even more powerful thing! But people can’t pray without if you’re always fine! If you’re always doing wonderful! If everything is always perfect! Yes you are a child of God, however it can be rough! You can be a child of God and tired! You can be a child of God and going through things financially! You can be a child of God and stress is getting to you! So it’s okay when someone asks how are you? And your response is just struggling mentally right now, that’s when prayer comes alive! That’s when we say let me prayer for you and come into agreement that God will resolve whatever it is that has your mental down right now! It’s okay when someone asks you how’s it going, and you say I’m just trying to get my finances in order so I can stop living from paycheck to paycheck, that’s where prayer comes in and you stand with your brother or sister in Christ and believe God will turn that financial situation around! If we believe that where two or three are gathered He’s in the midst, let’s not forsake the power of two people coming together and praying for a turn around in their lives! Don’t carry an unnecessary burden by yourself, but allow others who are strong in Christ to pray for you and believe that Jesus will make everything alright!!
Delayed does not mean denied! If God is good all the time, so is His timing!!
