Today we were so excited to watch as Mr. Terrence Burrell received an award for heroic efforts as an SRO by TAASRO during the 2026 conference. The award was for his intervention and prevention of gun violence at school. His actions saved so many students and staff from the threat of gun violence.

We celebrate Black History and student achievement all year at the Continuous Learning Center, but especially in February.

Our annual Black History program was a celebration of just that!!

We would like to congratulate Ms. Christie Pate our teacher of the year, Ivy Williams our Learning Leading student, and the honorable Commissioner Mercia Ludgood our guest speaker.
