🌞📚 Take the Lend an EAR Summer Reading Challenge! 🌱
Alabama Extension and Governor Kay Ivey invite all Alabama students entering kindergarten through 8th grade to join the 2026 Summer Reading Challenge!

Students simply read six books of their choice between now and July 24, 2026, and track their progress on the Reading Log. It’s an easy, fun way to build literacy skills and grow a love of reading all summer long.

When students complete the challenge, they can return their Reading Log to their County Extension Office for recognition as a Lend an EAR Champion.
