Shine Your Light Riding Academy

Hey everyone! We want to welcome all of our new followers and let you all know what is going on at Shine Your Light Riding Academy. The weather is warming up as spring is right around the corner which means…it’s the perfect time to ride! Lessons, camps and birthday parties are about to take off so message me for availability soon! We are still offering lessons from beginners up, on and off site birthday parties, seasonal and day camps. We will have spring break camp on March 7th and 8th from 9am-1pm with limited spots available. I will have summer camp dates available soon! It’s almost midnight! I can’t let this day pass without sharing our horse of the day. “Hokie” is our girl for Friday (shhh don’t tell anyone,but she is my favorite 😉) Hokie is a 10 year old registered saddlebred mare Black Diamond Effect. She’s special to me because I raised her from a baby! Just a little fun fact-she got her name Hokie because she spent a week at Virginia tech at 3 months old! I have loved riding her myself for the past year but it’s time for her to shine in what she was bred to do! Hokie will be used right now for saddleseat lessons. Intermediate w/t and advanced w/t/c. Hopefully one day she will be able to step up as an academy horse!
