Recently MWTC held a Defensive Pistol Shooting Fundamentals Course at the Linden Gun Range. We would like to thank all the attendees who came and spent the day with us learning, training, sharing and improving their skills.

This course was for the novice to intermediate shooter seeking improvement in defensive pistol shooting fundamentals. Training for home defense, CCW qualification preparation or just improving your basic defensive skills with your pistol. It was led by USCCA certified instructor, Carlos Medina and NRA pistol and CCW certified instructor, Justin Love.

This course covered:
- Improving your grip
- Various shooting platforms
- Improving your trigger control
- Shooting from cover and concealment
- Movement and shooting
- Instinctive & reactive shooting
- Defensive accuracy
- Precision shooting at distance
- Red dot optic systems on pistols
