As a reminder: Now that the weather has cooled down and the days get shorter, plants and lawns won't require as much watering. Make sure to water in the morning this way everything has a chance to dry out. You don't want your lawn to stay soggy as this will attract more critters.

With the cold weather now here, remember to "rodent proof" your residence by sealing off any areas where they can easily gain entry such as broken screen vents if on a raised foundation. Sometimes there's a gap on the garage side door that can easily be fixed by a weather strip. Also, remember to keep any nearby trees trimmed at least three feet away from the roof.
