This week, CHS - Ceres Partnership and the CHS - Newman Family Resource Center, Promotoras led a meaningful art activity centered on resilience and personal growth. Using pre-made canvases, participants reflected on how life doesn't always begin with a blank slate. Through creativity, perseverance, and support, we can build upon what we have and create something beautiful.

Promotoras serve as trusted community leaders, connecting families to resources, support, and opportunities while fostering meaningful relationships and a sense of belonging. Through activities like these, they help create spaces where community members can learn, connect, and grow together. Thank you to our Promotoras for sharing their time, wisdom, and heartfelt service with our community.

Last week, Youth Services staff came together to celebrate and reflect on the incredible impact they made throughout the school year. This year’s “Shifting Gears” 🚗⚙️ theme inspired a fun, car-themed celebration focused on moving forward and preparing for the road ahead. Staff enjoyed a delicious catered meal from Mikey-Que Barbecue Catering participated in raffles, interactive table activities, and received certificates recognizing their hard work and dedication throughout the year. As the school year comes to a close, staff are now heading into a well-deserved summer break to rest, recharge, and get ready for another impactful year ahead!
