Reed Family Companies has been recognized by the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) as a recipient of the 2025 Community Involvement Award, part of NAPA's Operational Excellence Awards program.
The award recognizes organizations that make a lasting impact in the communities they serve through strong community relations and employee involvement. One of the initiatives highlighted in the award was our annual Touch-A-Truck event, held in partnership with the Modesto Chamber of Commerce. The event gives local families and children the opportunity to explore construction equipment up close, meet industry professionals, and learn more about careers in construction.
We are honored to receive this national recognition and grateful to our employees, partners, and community members who help make these efforts possible. 🚗✨ Cruising through Modesto’s American Graffiti Parade
Sharing a few highlights from this year’s American Graffiti Parade as it rolled through Modesto, led by Jeff Reed, CEO of Reed Family Companies. The event also featured City of Modesto - City Hall Councilmembers Modesto City Council Member Nick Bavaro (District 4), Council Member Eric E. Alvarez (District 2), Vice Mayor Jeremiah Williams, and local radio legends Don Sainte-Johnn, Greg Edwards, and Bob Malik from Legend 105.9 FM.

Each year, this iconic event brings the community together to celebrate the region’s deep-rooted car culture. From classic cars rolling through downtown to families lining McHenry Avenue, it’s a tradition that showcases what makes Modesto special.
Hosted by the North Modesto Kiwanis, the American Graffiti Festival and Car Show supports important local programs. 🤝 Proceeds support scholarships, provide Christmas baskets for families in need 🎁, and fund youth-focused charities across the community.
