I am sad to announce that Higbee Horror Haunt will no longer be opening it's gates to terrorize you. It was a very difficult decision to retire the haunt for now. It has been an incredible run with building it up to what it became and the different locations we got to be part of. Unfortunately the last couple years have taken a tremendous toll on myself and my family with having to take everything down, move it, set it up, and take it down again. Some severe winds came through and tore down a lot of our setup that would lead to extensive repair work and ultimately the county required us to tear down once again. With the build crew consisting of myself and my good friend Eddie, we just can't do it anymore. With this door closing however many more have opened, including Higbee Productions. We are getting opportunities to help others get Haunted attractions and events started as well as dabbling in the film industry. Since our haunt door is closed and not locked there is always a chance that Higbee Horror Haunt can return from the grave. Thank you to anyone who attended our event and for those that became fans and looked forward to visiting us every year. I myself am a huge haunted house fan and to hear others talk about how much they enjoyed mine, warmed my heart every time. Thanks to all of the partners we have had in the past for giving us the opportunities to work with them and create an unforgettable event at their perspective locations. Thank you to all the scarers past and present, none of this would've happened without your hard work and dedication to the roles you were playing. Thank you to Eddie for being part of the build, the last couple years definitely wouldn't have happened without you, I appreciate everything you did as well as anyone who was able to take the extra time and help out at all during build. Thanks to the haunt OGs who helped me create this madness in a backyard starting out. Thank you to my dad who has been there by my side during all of this supporting the craziness. Thank you to my wife, who has had to deal with me during build and scare seasons and still stuck with me and gave me the mental support when I needed it most, I Love You.

NEW for 2024! THE HORRORLAND HAYRIDE!
Halloween 2023, the town had previously been operating as a Halloween festival, trying to remove its stained blood soaked history. This year they wanted to bring in something new and exciting, A Haunted Hayride. Everyone loved the idea, however space was limited till someone came up with the idea of running it through the Higbee Hollow Cemetary. It instantly got approved by the council without thinking of any repercussions and The Horrorland Hayride was born. Throwing together animatronics and props from your favorite horror movies they opened the ride with witty tour guides to assist the guests through. During a ride through, one of the tour guides noticed after a joke that some blue light emerged from a grave and moved into an animatronic. That same animatronic moved and lunged forward at the trailer. The guide thought it was odd, but shrugged it off as them switching out the prop with an actor. If only the guide had said something, they may have prevented a horrific tragedy from happening. The next group that boarded and went through all ended up being butchered and brutally murdered. They couldn't find a killer, but the strange part was that all the stab wounds and cuts matched up with the weapons the animatronics were holding. Still to this day nobody has been caught for these crimes, perhaps these murders were committed by something not among the living. Could the town running a mockery through the cemetery cause some spirits to be angered? Hopefully you can find out as you board the hayride and make your way through the cemetery on the world famous Horrorland Hayride.
