In mentoring, we are always working on something different. This year, we made our fork Yeti's and our Oreo "dirt" cup's with our mentees.

Fun activities give kids a chance to express themselves as well as try new things. Even as adults, we are always learning and growing.

Are you interested in mentoring? Check out our application on our website! We will have our last New Mentor Training late July :)

We are so proud of this student right here! We've gotten to know him over the three years he's been in our program and all we can say is - WOW. He's grown not only in height 😂 but also academically and in every aspect.

We are proud of you, bud!
It's always hard for the mentors and team when our kids graduate, but they leave a lasting impact on us as well.

Another shout out! 🎉
Every year, we set goals with our mentees that range from interpersonal to academic - often working on both at the same time. We are so proud of our mentee! He worked hard improving his grades and earning rewards.

Thank you Mr. Devin for your endless encouragement.

Some of our mentees showing off their artwork after learning self-care!
Some of their ideas included:

- Talking about feelings with a trusted adult or friend.
- Taking deep breathes when overwhelmed.
- Getting enough sleep.
- Writing thoughts down in a journal.
- Playing a game with family.

It's so important for children to learn to recognize their emotions as well as how to manage them by using self-care.

What are some ways you self-care?

Our Mentor Appreciation Dinner was a special evening celebrating the mentors who make a difference in the lives of youth throughout our community.

The evening gave mentors a chance to relax, enjoy a meal, and reflect on another school year together. As photos filled the screen and a video highlighted moments from the year, stories and memories came rushing back. It was a powerful reminder of the connections built and the positive impact mentors have on the young people they support.

To each of our mentors, thank you for showing up, listening, encouraging, and caring. Your commitment helps youth gain confidence, work through challenges, and see new possibilities for their future.
