We're so grateful to the Marie Lamfrom Charitable Foundation for their support following the December 2025 Atmospheric Flooding.
Thanks to their generosity, CCVOAD is better able to reach vulnerable community members, stabilize housing, and restore the essential resources people need to move forward.
One flood survivor offered "truly heartfelt thanks for the prompt aid and relief provided" — a reminder of why this work matters so much.
Thank you for believing in Clackamas County's recovery.

Building partnerships before the next disaster. 🤝
This week, CCVOAD Executive Director Pat Olsen presented to the Oregon City Safety Council — joining neighborhood associations and public service professionals for a great conversation about disaster preparedness and how the Safety Council and CCVOAD can partner together moving forward.
Clackamas County VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster) is the connective tissue between nonprofits, faith-based groups, government agencies, and community partners. Across 38 partner organizations, we fill gaps and connect resources at every phase of a disaster — immediate response, intermediate recovery, and long-term rebuilding.
A recurring theme of the discussion? Mass care readiness. When hundreds of neighbors are suddenly displaced, the question isn't whether help will come — it's whether we'll be coordinated when it does. Preparation today is what makes an effective response possible tomorrow.
Huge thanks to the Oregon City Safety Council for the invitation, and to every neighborhood leader and first responder in the room. Building resilience is a team sport. Want to partner with us, or learn how to get your neighborhood ready? → www.ccvoad.org
