Lambing is off to a great start this year. We're finishing up with the Black Welsh Mountain ewes, soon to be followed by the Fine Fleeced Shetlands. All twins and mostly girls so far! More cute lamb photos coming your way 😉

New yarn, sheep mani/pedis, and investing in young women for futures in Ag. Pretty good weekend.
Love our new kit from , making hoof trimming an actual joy to accomplish. Highly recommend for smaller sheep operations. Next up, planning some great new sweaters with our latest drop of yarn 💖

Shearing is done for the year! We're already extremely excited for all those lamb fleece next year, which will double our shearing load 😀
Penny and I also got to go shear a few sheep that were rescued out of a neglect situation in a nearby town, which was hard work but very rewarding. Next up, a visit to the mills we use and launching our website with all of our beautiful wooly products.

Started lambing with twin boys! After 12 years of farming, I once again feel like a newbie, which is fun and a little nerve-wracking. Cicely and her two little FF Shetland/BWM crosses are doing well so far. The dogs are very excited to have babies on the farm again!

Fan favorite Gilbert got sheared today with intern extraordinaire Penny. Swipe to see his gorgeous wool! We took the gift of a sunny Saturday to shear all the boys while we wait on the ladies to start dropping lambs!
