My coming out journey has had its ups and downs, but I have discovered who truly loves me for who I am. At moments it felt daunting to be my authentic self. At the end of the day I would do it all over again. Taking hormones, top surgery and establishing a tribe of people who are caring.

Childhood Wezz couldn't have fathomed where he would be today.

"How did we get so lucky? Facebook, baby. Who would’ve guessed we both gave up hope on love and yet still crossed paths. It took one single Saturday night of both of us randomly picking it back up via Facebook dating. She got on after being inactive for months, and I randomly expanded my distance. Then BAM, we matched. We messed each other the same night and had a great conversation. We continued to talk over chat and eventually video chatted with one another. Beth’s first words were “omg you’re real”. We talked for hours daily (as we could with differing work shifts). One thing led to the next and then we had our first date at Azteca. We spent hours laughing and getting to know one another. After we agreed we wanted to continue to see each other. We spent about 7 months of taking turns traveling to one another, and then we decided it felt right to reside together. Our journey together has had highs and lows. We recognize that things aren’t always “happy go lucky”. As time continued we fell more and more for each other. We happy to say we’re engaged! Trust me, we still work on our relationship constantly. In our eyes with good effort has rewarded our relationship. Things can be tough, but the end result is pure bliss."
