A Slow Session for beginners interested in learning Celtic music with an emphasis on backing up Celtic tunes. All are welcome. Listeners and participants.
Greenmore, featuring the one and only Rob Dahms, the percussion maestro Johnnie K (John Kinser), the incomparable Heather Nobiling and a real 'shroom Joe Nobiling will be performing at the Highland Games in Davenport on Friday Sept. 15 from 3-430 and Saturday Sept. 16 from 11-1230. Celtic fiddle tunes and songs performed on fiddle, mandolin, guitar, drums, Bodhran, tenor banjo, concertina and bones. Toe-tappin', feel good, put-a-smile on your face music.
Next Celtic Music Session will be in a week, July 20 from 6-730 pm. Bring your instruments, bring your ears for listenin'. Come on out and seisun'!!!
