Backyard Treasures

We had 2 fantastic babies adoptions go home this week. Lucy Waits got herself a baby blue quaker that she came from Mount Pleasant for. She had adopted an other baby from us several years ago. So Lucy welcomes her new blue quaker to her flock of 4 other babies. Lucia Diaz finally got to take her pineapple green cheek baby home today after waiting and visiting her for 2 months. She was so exited that her little girl Mimi could finally come home today.

Is it Christmas already?

We've been busy hand-raising and socializing LOTS of babies. Currently we have:

-Cockatiels (Normal Grey and Whiteface, with Lutino's not far behind)
-Budgikeets (one normal blue and one sky blue)
-Sun Conures
-Quakers (Albino, Cobalt, 'Lemon-Lime', Blue)
-Caiques
-Indian Ringnecks (Green)
-Zebra Finches
-Society Finches

Happy 4th of July, everyone!

ADOPTION DAY for Piper who found her forever home. Her mom chose her name and picked up her hand raised baby today. She also got her toys and food from us that she knows Piper loves. Her mom was going to come visit today; Piper got to go home with her instead.
