C.A.T.S provides for the re-use of pediatric rehabilitation equipment and assistive technology. All of these can lead to a happier child and healthier families!

Today, we celebrate the freedoms that bring us together and recognize the importance of ensuring every child has the opportunity to participate fully in their communities.

At C.A.T.S., we believe access creates opportunity. Every child deserves the assistive technology they need to move, communicate, learn, play, and experience the world around them.

As you gather with family and friends this Independence Day, we hope you take a moment to celebrate the strength, resilience, and creativity of children with disabilities and the families who support them every day.

Wishing you a safe, joyful, and inclusive Fourth of July! ❤️🤍💙

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our incredible partners!

We are proud to recognize the Foundation for Children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (FCIDD) and the Smith Mountain Lake Civitan Club for making our new C.A.T.S. website possible through their generous support of our digital modernization project.

Because of their investment, families and clinicians now have a faster, more accessible, and more user friendly way to connect with C.A.T.S. Our new website helps streamline equipment requests, improve communication, and strengthen our ability to serve children with disabilities across Virginia.

This project is more than a new website. It's an investment in greater access, stronger connections, and more opportunities for children who rely on assistive technology to thrive.

Thank you, Foundation for Children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and the Smith Mountain Lake Civitan Club for believing in our mission and helping us continue equipping children for access and opportunity. Together, we are building a future where every child has the tools they need to reach their full potential.

LET’S TALK WHEELCHAIRS 💙

Wheelchairs are more than mobility devices.

They are tools that help children participate, explore, learn, connect, and thrive.

Manual and power wheelchairs can help children:
✔ move more independently
✔ participate in school and activities
✔ engage with family and friends
✔ improve positioning and comfort
✔ build confidence and quality of life

For many children with disabilities, the right wheelchair opens doors to greater independence, access, health, and opportunity every single day.

We hope we’ve helped show just how important assistive technology is in helping children with disabilities access and engage with the world around them.
