April is Autism Awareness month - something the cast and crew of holds dear. This film was created for the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge Watch and share the film with your friends, family and colleagues.

Directed by Debbie Armstrong and written by Michael Keeney, “Pin Heads” is a Buddy Comedy that tells the story of friendship and a bully.

“Making a short film in 55 hours is monumental for any filmmaking group, but for a group of individuals with Autism it is beyond epic”, says Armstrong, Founder and Director of Camp Createability. An estimated 90 percent of young people with Autism and other disabilities are under or unemployed. Camp Createability participant’s personal achievements are inspiring. They’ve overcome obstacles others don’t have… but they also have many talents that others don’t have.

Camp Createability helps prepare children and young adults for careers in digital media, animation, film and entertainment through instruction in the technical and soft skills needed to succeed in the work environment and in the community. We hope that our film can bring about awareness and inspire change or at least start the conversation.
