A Disney experience without the Disney expenses!! Come dressed in your Disney best and join the businesses in the mercantile building to bring a little Disney fun to downtown Monroe! Taste the magic with a Disney treat and drink from The Loft , come make memories and custom Mickey ears or trucker hats at Anyone Can Paint, and check out some unique little Disney finds at Olive Branch Antiques.
A pin trading board will be at each business and 2 pins can be traded with each purchase at that business.

While this day is not free, please remember that the small businesses that work so hard to bring fun, exciting, and new experiences to Monroe do pay for all of these things and we may be small, but we have BIG bills that just keep getting BIGGER. By participating in these special planned events you are not only helping a small business, you are telling that small business owner that their business matters to you. You want what they bring to continue to be in your small town!!

And if you can’t make it for this event, show up other days. If you like these businesses, we need you to be there!! Even a small $5 purchase is appreciated. $5 can add up quickly if more people show up. These hidden gems in this small town won’t be here forever if people bypass the local businesses for the pop ups at the farmers market, flower festival, fall festival, etc. While some of these are local, a lot offer similar items to actual shops in the city and hurt the businesses and the owners (who are real people like you) that pay to be there and show up for you throughout the ENTIRE year.

Don’t you want the uniqueness to stay in your town? Don’t you want the businesses that make it feel like home to be there? Otherwise, what would make Monroe what it is today?
