I’ve heard a lot of people say I didn’t do anything when I was mayor 🤔

Here are a few things I accomplished while in office that certain media outlets won’t tell you about:

🛫 Built a new airport (Monroe Regional Airport)

✈️ Negotiated a third airline to Monroe (American Airlines)

🏆 Won several state awards for economic and community development

🚨 Restored an old building and turned it into our state of the art Public Safety Center

💰 Raised the city’s minimum wage to $10/hr.

💵 Left the city with a record fund balance in its account with over $14 million

🏠 Tore down over 1,000 dilapidated houses in Monroe

👨🏾‍💼 2,000 new businesses were opened during my administration

🐴 Brought the Bayou Black Open Rodeo to Monroe

💸 Supported President Biden and Gov. John Bel Edwards which led to Monroe getting a record amount of COVID-19 and Bu-party Infrastructure dollars

💧Improved the drainage system in Monroe

🔫 Crime consistently decreased my last five years in office. It has skyrocketed now that Friday has taken over. This is supported by independent data.
