7pm to 7am

The DSW/SHSA assists men and women with developmental disabilities to enjoy living their lives to the fullest in their homes and community.
The DSW/ SHSA assures health and safety of those supported, implements, documents, and reports on participant’s plan of care, assists with and teaches health, safety, personal care, domestic and social skills. These employees model behavior and interactions appropriate to community standards.
The DSW/ SHSA transports participant in the worker’s vehicle.

The DSW/SHSA's responsibility is to recognize that men and women with intellectual disabilities can learn and enjoy growing in skill and knowledge and that they can live their lives as full community citizens with fully vested rights when provided the correct support.
To provide support for adults with intellectual disabilities by :
Assuring the health and safety of those supported;
Implement, document, and report on participant’s plan of care.
Read, comprehend and implement program guidelines and standards, write with clarity;
Assist with and teach health, safety, personal care, domestic and social skills;
Model behavior and interactions appropriate to community standards;
Transport a person in the worker’s vehicle.
